Pottery Studio Kouzangama
Lecturer: Ceramist Mr. Hideo Suzuki
You can make your original teacup, vase, tea set or others at the studio with a climbing kiln that commands a fine view of Sagami Bay.
The raw materials are clay from the valley in Yugawara, mandarin orange ashes, and the like.
Clay in Yugawara contains a lot of iron. Its deep-brownish texture is plain and simple, and adds charm to flowers or other dishes that play the leading role. (Your finished work will be sent to you later.)
